In Need of a Pediatrician in near West Suburbs

Vicky, We moved to Oak Park last year, and found Pediagroup Associates. There are four doctors there, all women. We see Dr. Srivastava, but we've also met Dr. Walker, and she's great. We've been pleased, especially because you can reach them after hours when necessary (an issue, especially with newborns, who don't get sick at convenient times!), and we've never had a problem making an appointment (and I'm pretty sure they have some evening appointments).

We just moved to Oak Park and see Dr. Michael Clark at Loyola University System at 7005 W. North Ave in Oak Park (they also have a practice in Elmhurst). All of my neighbors go to the same practice (different doctors) and love them. There are 7 dr's, 5 of whom are pediatricians and internists. So now my husband and I also see Dr. Clark.

We really like the John Boblick group on North Avunue, they have 2 locations, one in Oak Park, across from the Sears, the other one in Lombard. My baby has been with then since he was born, all the doctors there are very knowledgable and nice.

I have twin boys and our Peds is in downtown Chicago. Which isn't necessary where you are looking but I had tell you about our ped because he is AMAZING!! Actually, every person in the practice is amazing! My guys came extremely early and when they came home our ped was amazing with them and still is. If i have ever had any concerns all I had to do was call and leave a message and I got a returned call within 30 minutes if that. They are open everyday of the week and they have ALWAYS been able to squeeze us in if we need to be seen. It is Northwestern Childrens Practice. ###-###-#### They are taking new patients. I HIGHLY recommend them! I am just so happy with them and the way they care for my children. You can tell they are in this profession because of the children and not the pay check!

I live in Brookfield too! I had a pediatrician in Westchester but recently changed due to disatisfaction with her and her office. A friend of mine is a pediatric allergist and recommended Heather Haukness in Oak Park. I really like her! It's a bit of a drive- takes about 25 minutes, but has been very worth it for me so far!
