S.B.
I just used two of the same monitors and set them on the same channel and used one receiver. It works OK, but if I have both monitors on with the one receiver, one kid comes through loud and clear and the other comes through statticky and muffled. And, I have two receivers...one is always staticky if I have both monitors on. You can still hear both of the kiddos, its just very staticky. I was very worried about this at first, but now its fine. Trust me, kids are loud enough for us to hear, even without the monitor!! Especially if something is wrong!! But, I know it gives peace of mind to have a monitor! I have never used one of the more expensive ones that are made to monitor two seperate rooms...so I can't give an opinion on those.
Good luck and Congrats on the new baby!!
