The bob revolution is awesome. I bought my double one on ebay for about a hundred less than retail. Maclarens are also great. the Techno is a great lightweight but sturdy stroller.
Hello moms! I am in need of help buying a new stroller. I "played" with a bunch at Babies'r Us and I can't choose. I have a soon to be toddler (1year old next month) and a nearly 5 year old. I already have the Caboose for both of them and a Graco travel system from the first baby, but I want a new one for just the little guy. Here is what I am looking for:
Lightweight/ compact
Easy access storage basket big enough for an average diaper bag, (not a mini bag.)
cupholder (for my drink or a sippy)
ease of movement, especially shopping to zigzag around a store.
sun protection
not bulky
not more than $500. (I was recommended the Bugaboo frog, but I don't like the storage, too small for a REAL size diaper bag)
If you have a stroller that you LOVE, please let me know what make and model AND where you got it. I live in the North Shore area if that makes a difference on location of products.
I bought the Baby Jogger City Mini and it moves like a dream, folds like a dream and has some great features that the Maclarens didn't have. If you want to see it, it is at http://www.babyjogger.com/cityminimain.htm . Prices go up next week by $50! I'm glad I got it when it was $199. Thanks everyone!

Hi J.,
we got the Mcalaren Volo when our daughter was about 1. its really easy to handle, very lightweight, folds up snuggly, you can fit it anywhere. we also used to have the Graco travel system, and trust me you will LOVE this new stroller. its so much easier to handle, it even has a shoulder strap so you can just through it over your shoulder and go, so check it out.
It sounds like you need a Maclaren. Specifically I would recommend the VOLO but there are several models that you can choose from.
I have a bugaboo and I agree that it's just not compact enough (although it's easy to push and I had the riding board for my older son). I also have a Combi which they do fold up compactly but I think that our Maclaren is the best, lightweight, compact, but sturdy stroller.
I bought mine off eBay. Brand new but I wanted a color that you couldn't get around here at the time.
