We use Kiddin' Around Playcare. They're really good & affordable!! There are several locations around. We use the one behind Willow Bend mall off of Chapel Hill.
P.S. Congrats on the baby! :-)
Our baby is due in March. I work out of my home, so most days I won't need any childcare, but sometimes I need to go out of the house to meet clients, work, run errands, etc. I am looking for some kind of drop in child care. Any good suggestions? I live in the North Dallas / West Plano area.

Adventure Kids Playcare in North Dallas. Children are cared for as early as 6 weeks. Staff have all had extensive background checks and are CPR certified. I used them when I first had my little girl and was working from home. It worked out perfect because my clients could ask for a meeting in 45 minutes and I could be there.
We use Adventure Kids Playcare too! My daughter loves it! They have several locations. We have used the one at Preston & Park and the one at Forest & Inwood. Great Experiece - highly recommend
Try Friendship Ministries at 17601 Marsh Lane (on Marsh between Trinity Mills and Frankford Rd off the Tollway - far North Dallas). I have a 14 month old and I've used them many times. They are very affordable, wonderful caring staff, and provide a "Mother's Day Out" program Mondays thru Thursday. They are inside of a church, but you are not required to be a member, we aren't and just love them. I trust the staff and my son always has fun and is happy when I pick him up in the afternoon. Good Luck & Congrats on the baby!
Adventure Kids Playcare is great! It's at Park and Preston in the Kroger shopping center. My son is so excited when I tell him he gets to go play at Adventure Kids! www.adventurekidsplaycare.com

=)
Adventure Kids Playcare at Park and Preston is great. Babies are allowed from 6 weeks. Infants through 18 months are in a separate room from the rest of the kids and require calling ahead so they can staff it appropriately. We also use the location at Preston/Forest, depending on which direction I'm heading after dropping the kids.

I've used Kiddin Around on Chapel Hill and Plano Parkway many times and have been pretty pleased with them. If I remember correctly they accept new babies at 8 weeks old. I'm in the same situation, due in March with our 2nd and have a 15 month as well. Like you, I work from home but I occasionally meet with clients and don't need full time daycare. I does get harder and harder to actually work as the baby gets older, Now that she is a year I can only steal a few hours during the day to get work done. I would like to find a school or private home care that offers drop in. Please let me know if you find the perfect situation, I would love to find a good balance. ____@____.com
