Drop one feeding at a time, and, since you have the luxury of a little time to do this, go a few days before you drop the next feeding (I always needed about 3 days or I felt so engorged). Drop the middle of the day ones first, then first thing in the morning, then before bed. I was always able to keep the just before bed one for a long time, even though it was just one feeding. That's just if you want to, of course. Congrats on Bfing for so long, and don't feel guilty for wanting to stop. You did great!

Just take it slow....that's the easiest way for both of you. For you it's better cause your milk supply will start to decrease over time but you won't have too much discomfort. And your baby will then get used to nursing less and less than having the shock of one day being cut off. Start with one of the feedings that is short or not that important to your baby...like one during the middle of the day instead of a naptime or bedtime. After a few weeks you will be done to only a feeding or two and then shortly after that you will be done. Good luck.

Wean as slowly as you possibly can. If you LIKE breastfeeding, you may be able to continue to do it at the times your home. Decide the feedings you'd like to keep the longest - morning and evening I would guess, as that would fit your work schedule. Gradually replace the "work hours" nursing with the bottle. The more gradual you can be, the happier both of you will be. Good luck!
