Mr. Clean magic erasert! Works WONDERS!!!! I have cleaned quite a few markers off the walls and doors with them. :) Good luck!
My 2 year old got up extra early this morning and decided she wanted to draw a mural on the wall with her markers! Yes they are washable but not off of things like the wall and the table! I use a diluted bleach solution to clean with and tried that and noticed some of the white paint came off on to the sponge. I didn't think washable markers would be so hard to clean....any suggestions? Thank you for all of your responses in advance!!!! : )
Well the Magic Eraser didn't work as well as I thought it would. It pretty much just lightened all the marks but didn't get rid of them. And after I used it...it looked like the paint came off on it. What I ended up doing since nothing else worked...was putting some bleach on a cotton ball and that worked the best! For now...no markers and all other pens, pencils, and crayons put up out of her reach until she knows NOT to mark on the walls at all! Again thanks for the responses!

Definitely the magic eraser! Took sharpie marker off my walls!
Do you have a Mr. Clean magic eraser? Those things are awesome!
I am with the ones that said the Mr. Clean! I had that with non washable markers and crayon. It should work. If you don't get it all out you can always pain. I know that's probably not an option you want but depends on where it is and how much is left.
Good luck and God Bless!
I'd try those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They work wonders!
I dont' try to clean what my kids do to painted walls- instead touch -up paint is a regular part of my house maintenance. One reason I moved out of my old rental is the landlord did not have touch- up paint to match for half the house and so it was repaint or move!
Someone told me just this morning that sunscreen (the lotion kind) will take Sharpie off. Don't know how she discovered that, but she swears that it works. Just a thought, in case the Magic Eraser or rubbing alcohol doesn't work!
Rubbing Alcohol.
Hate to just repeat the rest of these ladies but the Magic Eraser really does work. I've had it do the job EVERY time I've used it. Even stuff "Goo-B-Gone" won't remove was an easy job for my magic eraser. I have a friend who's boyfriend swears there's some kind of color recognizing paint chemical in them, he says the spot's not removed but painted over! ;)
I hate to break the news to you, but my daughter did this and nothing took it off. Our nanny (Bethany C.) is super-woman when it comes to cleaning, and even she couldn't get it off. The Magic Eraser didn't even work.
We gotta paint over it.
Magic erasers are the best. You can buy a 2 or 4 pack for less than 5 bucks. They take off pretty much everything without bothering the paint.
Magic eraser takes almost everything off.
Hair spray works wonderfully for ink.
rubbing alcohol, and magic erasers... Mr. Clean works magic
