We held my sons last birthday at a jumping, bounce house type place. We tipped our hostess $25.
My son has had parties places but not where there are actual hostesses. I don't know what to tip. I have already paid for the party in full, to take advantage of a coupon. They will be setting up the party, serving the kids a meal and running the activities. How much should I tip and how should I do it considering I've already paid for the party? I just don't want it to be an awkward situation, normally I would just add it to the bill. Forgot to add... the party is 2.5 hrs long.
Mommy L. - my 1st thought was that 10 to 20 $ doesn't' seem like enough.

We had our daughters party at Chuck E. Cheese (I know, parents of the year lol) it was prepaid as well. The hostess was assigned to just our party and was awesome, served the cake, cleaned up. We tipped her $25.
I do parties, usually they give me about $10-$20 tip. But I work my butt off and usually stay an extra hour or more than they paid for.. so really, they owe me much more than that!
Please tip. Our daughters boyfriend is a host for chuck e cheese. They bust their butts to make parents happy, keep children entertained, clean up .. They deserve a tip
I hear stories from him on the "types" of families that come in and they pray don't have that family because the parents are super picky, can't be pleased and leave no tip.
We always tip 20%. If you can't do that, at least give them a decent $25, maybe. The party is not at your house, you have no clean up, these hosts also clean the toilets when the night is over. Most are saving for college because their parents are the types who don't think it is their job to provide for their children.
Truthfully, any decent tip is appreciated.
like any other service, 18-20% of the total bill. Just give it to her in cash at the end of the party.
