Not really based on Halloween, but I'm taking fruit kabobs to my daughter's first grade class. Wooden scewers with grapes, strawberried, melon, pineapple etc............ I might make a cool whip and orange dip to go with.
Does anyone have a receipe for a healthy halloween snacks that I can take for a 1st grade party? I was going to make cup cakes with eye balls on top, but the teacher requested that it be healthy.

Pumpkin spice muffins? Vegetables and ranch dip, you can put the dip in a mini pumpkin?
Fresh apple wedges (dipped into water w/lemon juice to keep from turning dark.) And caramel dip. Add a gummy RAT drowning in the caramel. You can stick the rat into the dip with head down & tail up or vice versa. Maybe two RATS!! Several years back - - I brought the 100% fruit juice to my son's school party. I poured the juice into a huge "science lab" jar (a fat cylinder vase) and floated a couple of gummy rats in it and put on a tag that said "Experiment #5. GONE WRONG."
I thought this was a cute idea:

String cheese witches' fingers are cute! You can either use colored jelly beans as fingernails, or even slivered almonds as fingernails. Here's a link........

You can do sugar-free Jello jigglers cut out with halloween cookie cutters. I do these & they are the first thing eaten! The instructions for how to make the jigglers is on the side of the box.
what about apples with peanut butter, and you could put a gummy worm in the peanut butter.
How about popcorn balls? I keep hearing how popcorn is healthy for you (that is if you pop it yourself) but I don't know about what keeps it together. I don't have a recipe but google should work!
witches fingers
how about a carrot (think finger) with an almond sliver stuck on with ranch dip (think of the finger nail)
or eye balls
grapes or olives stuffed with cream cheese/yogurt/cheese
I saw something with the little mini hot dogs once but I can't remember what it was... I thought it was a ghost with mustard eyes and smile
I've done pretzel rods dipped in almond bark before and some teachers are ok with it as a "healthy snack" just depends on the teacher
