K....I also live in Loveland and I drive to Dillonvale to the Hair Care II beauty shop. They charge $18. It is on Galbraith Road very near Plainfield across the street from the Huntington Bank. They do great work....I go to Dena. M. B.
Hi,
I am hoping that someone can recommend a hair stylist that will give you suggestions of what would look good on you, (or tell you if how you want it cut wouldn't look so good!) cuts hair really well, and doesn't cost a ton. I know it's a tall order! I guess I would be willing to pay a little more if the person is really good and gives suggestions of what would look good on me. I currently pay about $45 for a hair cut and blow dry only. I am in the Loveland area.
Thank you in advance!

Hi K.,
I'm not sure if the drive is too far for you, but my hairdresser charges $16 for a cut and dry. She may charge extra to wash it, but we just go with clean hair and she sprays a bit of water on it and goes to work. Sheila is very sweet, authentic and non-pretentious and you sort of feel you are in a friend's home getting a cut. The place is very casual and she may take a moment to briefly answer the phone during your cut, but I prefer her to the haughty, high priced salon I used to go to where the guys cuts were inconsistent depending on how much of his attention was focused on your hair that particular day.
Sheila is very good at working with difficult hair (mine is thick and needs thinning, my friend's is too fine and need poofing up). She also does a good job on my boys who have super curly tight rings at the end of their hair, but it is fairly straight from the root to the ends!

Hi K.,
After being in the Maineville area for two years and going through a couple of different hair stylist, I finally found someone I love! Denise Stoll at Towne & Country in Maineville is wonderful. The first time I showed her a picture and she cut my hair to the tee like the picture. The next time, I wasn't really sure what I wanted...she asked me a bunch of different questions and she came up with what she thought I wanted. And, it was!!!!! And if you're not happy with the cut, you can go back within a week and they will recut/fix for free. I haven't had her color my hair yet, but I hear she is really good with color and highlights.
The shop is at the corner of 22 and 48. It's in the strip plaza with Kidd Coffee. Their number ###-###-####. Just a hair cut is $25 and a hair cut and style is $32. Very reasonable for this area! Good luck!

Hi K.,
For years, I've been going to a stylist named Julie at Ecotage Salon in the Tri-County Macy's. She does a great job and has given me lots of good advice about managing my hair. Their prices aren't bad. I think I usually pay around $30 for a cut and style. I used to go to Identity, but my stylist left there and I couldn't afford her anymore. There's an Identity Salon on Montgomery Road near Union Cemetery.
I live in Anderson and love Identity Hair Salon. They have different levels depending on experience and ability and charge accordingly. I usually get mine cut but a "new talent" stylist and it's only $20. You can request whichever level you prefer. My hair is a pretty simple cut and I found someone who's really good at it. Hope this helps.
You should try the Aveda school in Hyde Park. A haircut and style is $15. The people that cut your hair are students at the school and their instructor is right there to watch and make sure that they don't make any mistakes. They do an extensive consultation and even do a mini-facial while you are getting your hair cut. They also can't accept tips. My friend from work just went there for a haircut and she loved it so I went there on Thursday and got a manicure and they did a really good job. The students are really focused on the customer and it was a great experience.

Hi...
I go to Tina at Collins and Co. on Fields Ertel next to Kohls and Linens N Things. I think the cut and style is $30something. (I never only pay for my hair cut...often the kids are getting their's cut, too) I've been going to her for 10+ years and she's always been very honest about whether my hair is capable of doing what I want it to. She's also great about transition cuts when you're growing something out. I've never had a bad cut in 10 years. Good luck!
Jane at LifeSpa (in Lifetime Fitness - Mason/Deerfield Twp. You do not need to be a member.). I think my haircuts are $35, maybe $40 - not 100% sure with tip and product purchase, etc. She cuts kids hair for $15, I believe.
K.,
I go to Center Stage as do most of my friends and we all live in the Loveland area too. I saw Kelly last week and got the cutest haircut even though I went in there with just the vaguest of ideas. I've also seen Sarah and had great luck with her as well. My haircut was $32 and I left with it styled. Center Stage is on Fields Ertle Rd kind of across from O'Charley's in that little strip mall. Hope that helps. :)
Oh My God girl. That's way too much.
I have a wonderful hairdresser. You would need to travel a bit but honestly she would be worth it.
If I get a color, trim and blow dry I pay $45 including tip. A cut and blow dry is only $20 plus whatever I tip her.
Her name is Janie Sulivan and works for Hair To Dye For in St. Bernard. They are in the book and I cannot recall the phone number.
Not only do I go there but so does my sister. She has went to Janie almost since we all left high school.
Let me explain why we think Janie is so good. My sis is a jet setter who lives on the East side. Anderson area. She goes to Europe and the Carabean allot. She flys everywhere. When so is on a plane (and this hapens 90% of the time) and they land soneone will come up to her and ask who and where does she get her hair done. She is complimented all over Europe. People think she pays hundreds of dollars for her hair.
If you deside to guve her a try tell her C. Watson sent you.
There is another lady I know who will cut your hair one time for free but she charges way more than Janie does. Email me if you want to know the other person too. She books through Yahoo and is in Blue Ash on Galbraith road near the Dillonvale Shopping Center.
Hi K.,
I have been a hairstylist for 17 years. I have worked in Chicago, LA, and Cincinnati, ever since I became married. I am currently working at Regis in Kenwood Towne Centre ###-###-####) on Thursday and Saturday. (I have twins that just turned 2!)
Women's haircuts are $32.00. A complimentary consultation is available to you.
I would be more than happy to discuss your hair and be honest with you. My goal with clients is to give them something that looks great and they can do at home. Otherwise it is poor advertising. My clients are my walking billboard!
Sorry, but I am not familiar with Salons in the Loveland area.
If you do come in, remind me of how you heard about me and I will give you a discount on your service that day.
Cheers,
Susie Rail
p.s. I encourage people to compliment haircuts they see on similar hair texture and ask where they get their hair done. Referrals are the best form of advertising we have!
Hi K.,
After asking a lot of my friends (whose hair always looks so great) where they got their hair done, I tried their stylist...and wow is she amazing! Her name is Alison and she's at the Kids Fun Cuts in Milford just off of Lila Ave. I know...a kid's place...it's a long story how she got there but she does amazing work and I recommend her to anyone I can. She listens very well to what you want and if you want her guidance she'll definetly let you know what she thinks will work best with your face. She has amazing talent...and she's inexpensive. I was just there last week and I had a shampoo, cut and style and I believe it was only $19. Great, isn't it??? Anyway, hope this helps. I wouldn't go to anyone else now. She's the greatest.
