IMO, the best green products don't even come under "big name" labels....
For cleaning, we use a solution of white vinegar and water for just about everything, including mopping the floors. Hydrogen peroxide and water can be mixed to use as a disinfectant. For heavier cleaning, like the oven or stubborn soap scum, a little Borax does the trick. I make my own laundry detergent with Borax, Washing Soda, and Fels Naptha. A cup of white vinegar added to a load of laundry is a natural fabric softener and odor neutralizer, and no, your clothes won't smell like pickles!
For soap, we use Kiss My Face brand Olive Oil soap. It's great on hands and body. We've used Kirk's Castile Soap in the past.
For lotion, I use pure Coconut Oil on everything from my son's diaper rash to my face to my husband's sand paper feet.
