Hi. My 3rd grader son, has always struggled with reading. He loves math, and is doing pretty well in there and only sometimes struggles. I am in process of having him tested for ADHD and other learning disabilities. On the 15th I am meeting with specialist to find results, after hours of having him tested. I am going to ask his teacher about summer school this summer, just to help keep things "fresh" in his mind, but also thought I could get some feedback on some good educational websites that he could play, have fun but learn reading/math skills. So any good educational websites? Any ideas would be great!

I am going to second starfall.com (they reccomend that in school) as well as suggest visiting your local library and see what programs they offer as well. Many have summer programs or your Park District may have opportunities as well.

I vote ABCMouse.com or Starfall. In that order.

Lexia is an online reading intervention used in schools. I'm not sure if you can get individual accounts but it is worth looking into.

Spellingcity.com is great for word work.

I'd also look into summer reading programs offered by your local library.
