As most, my son's class is exchanging Valentines. :) I am looking for some fun ideas that you have seen or done. Thank you!

Take a white paper plate.

Have an adult (or a child who can draw a heart) make a heart
on the paper plate with cream cheese or peanut butter.

Have the child place either whole grapes or half grapes on the spread. Press them down lightly...

You'll have an edible heart-shaped treat !

Check out pinterest...Awesome ideas on there.

My personal favorite is handing out bananas with a tag that says "I go bananas over you" or oranges with a tag "Orange we great friends?" I like the "healthier" options.

I think we are going to go with individual cereal boxes with a colorful spoon tied and a tag that says "I cereal-sly like you!" (or something like that).

Have fun!! :-)

I just looked at a family fun mag. It had on with 2 puzzle pieces spray painted red with the glued close together on a card. Underneath it said, we fit together. I thought it was cute.

Look on their site, they always have cute things. There's also pintrest.

My kindergartener was VERY excited to pick out her OWN Valentine's this year. She chose the dip/candy sugar ones with Sponge Bob on it. Her class/school does not allow pre-made items to be sent in. She already wrote her name or initials on all of them because last year they asked to just send in enough for each kid (and not put individual names on each so it's easier to pass out to the kids).

As for HOME that night, we're having RED dinner by candlelight. Red macaroni and cheese, red dip (red food coloring in dip) with veggies and chips and steak or burgers and some sort of chocolate or dessert. Also sparkling grape juice.

Better Homes & Gardens had a slideshow today with some really cute Valentines made from treats....not all candy-related. Lots of great ideas. :)

My son never wanted to have anything to do with giving
Valentine's to classmates. Some of the moms did all kinds of cute stuff. We did NOTHING. My daughter just wanted to do the usual. Kids often times don't want to be different. I was bummed all the time. I hope you ahve more fun than I did!

My kids always make cupcakes for the class to go with their valentines cards. I don't send in sugary stuff most of the year, so I don't feel bad doing it on Valentine's.
