Hi I was loking for some feedback about Mickey's Christmas party. Please tell me how early you have gotten in. Which rides are closed? Any negative experiences? Thanks for the feedback.

What can I do next?

I'm running off of memory here, (Dec 2009) and if I recall it is mainly just a parade, with snow, free cocoa and cookies. It is extremely packed. It is held at the end of the day on main street. I'm not sure what rides are closed or open because everyone is on main street during the 'party'.
You have to purchase a separate ticket and you're given a wristband. At the close of the day the staff begins ushering everyone without a wristband to the exits and those with a wristband stay on main street.
We planned it so Magic Kingdom was our late day park for that day. Because you won't get out of there until midnight or later.

I haven't ever been, but we do have annual passes. I have friends who have been & said that if you have an annual pass, then dont do it. B/c it's fun, but not worth the extra money on top of the annual pass. However, if you don't have an annual pass & don't go often, then it's worth it. They limit the number of guests allowed in, so the lines are short & you get to see & ride a lot.
As far as what time to arrive, I'd be there to enter once it opens. And plan to stay until closing.
Have fun!!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas is AWESOME! We've taken our daughter (now 4) for the last 2 years. If you have tickets to the park, you can go as early as you want. Around 7 - they start kicking out anyone who doesn't have Very Merry tickets. As far as I can recall, all of the rides are open. The parade is awesome. If you have a daughter who likes princesses, then the Princess Character Meet & Greet is even better because the Princes are with them. We really love it and have always had fun. Try to get a good nap in that day because the park is open late!

This is one of my favorite events. Do not miss it! There is something going
on every minute. I think you can in around 5PM. Festivities start at 7 on the nose. Hope you have a blast. Been there for the party several times and
have never had a negative experience!

We went a couple of years ago, it was so much fun!
Rides were open. There's the parade, and free hot cocoa , and cookies . The park closed early to people that didn't have the extra ticket.
You can't get in until it starts.
