Hi everyone.
We are heading to Disney world on Wednesday for the second time in less than a year. I have been reading about "Mickey's Very Merry Xmas Party". Tickets are $66/person, which we don't mind spending if it's worth it. Our son is 2.5. Thanks in advance!

It is quite an event and there is a special parade, special fireworks and activities in the park- my family has enjoyed it and we don't have little ones, but we enjoy watching the faces of the little ones! They also limit how many tickets they sell, so the park is not so packed with people. Your son won't need a ticket until he is 3 so you won't have to buy one for him. It would be expensive if you added this ticket to a day when you were also paying for regular park admission. If you don't go to the park until your special tickets allow you in (which is a little earlier than the "party" actually starts.) then it would definitely be worth it. Make sure you plan for the weather, it can get very cool or cold at night. Have a wonderful trip!

I have never been, we are waiting until the kids are a little older to go. I have heard nothing but amazing wonderful things about it. Today we were leaving the park, as it started and everyone was just so excited. It was wonderful to see. Also we talked to a few different people this weekend who all just loved it.

THis year would probably be a great time to try it, while your son is still free.

We just went to the Very Merry Christmas parade, and it was pretty cool. It IS expensive, BUT, it would be a great 'one time' thing to see. My daughter 4 loved it. I would however try and get there as early as possible so you can get curb side seats. There is alot to see besides the parade, and it can be a pretty late night for a little child. I would advise making sure your little guy naps that day so you can stay for all the fun. We had to leave early due to my daughter being exhausted! Have fun!!!!

We were just there and it is definitely worth it! Make sure you are well rested. You can buy the tickets in advance and save $6 per ticket (you can print them when you buy them.

We have annual passes and spend the extra money to go to the Halloween party and the Christmas party. Even at 2.5 he will have fun. The lines are not as long and they have rarely seen characters out for meet and greets. That is how my daughter and step daughter got to meet Captain Jack, the Seven Dwarfs and the ones that are not usually out.
They also have a Christmas parade (with Santa) and the fireworks show. (The holiday firework show is a little different from the regular show).

PS: Make sure you check out the Christmas light show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Have fun. :-)

We leave on Friday and also are annual passholders spending the extra on teh Very Merry. We did the Not So Very Scary in Oct. and the kids loved it and well worth the extra $$. My nieces and nephew had never been there and just loved the more one on one you get during the party! Hope you have a great time and like Jackie said don't forget to see the Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios!
