I definitely concur with what everyone is saying regarding nutrition.
However, in a desperate attempt to lose some weight about a year ago, I tried Slimquick Cleanse. I loved it!!. I lost 10 lbs within two weeks. I kept going with a general meal plan that was like the one they provide in the box. I’m definitely not a nut and fish eater but I replaced it with lean meats and more veggies and fruit.
Dieting can be really hard and I've never was successful with it in the past, but this time it took me getting mentally prepared to ‘do the diet’ and it helped out so much. I bought the pills a week before my official start date, wrote it all out on a calendar. Mentally and verbally prepared myself and even told my mom I was ‘gunna do this!’. I made sure I had all the foods I would need for the next couple days and planned out the shopping trips grabbing ONLY things on the healthy list.
No fast food and THE HARDEST thing for me was NO soda!! I’m so addicted to the refreshing taste, it was tough but because I got myself so excited and thought about how great I was going to look in a few months every time I looked in the mirror it made it a little more worth it. To be honest, it probably wasn't the Slimquick that got me to lose the weight, it was the changes I made to my diet BUT it helped me stay motivated and feel like I was on a plan. I would buy it again and probably will after I have my baby and stop nursing.
A couple other tricks:
No eating after 7 (or 2-3 before you settle down for the night)
Fruit for breakfast and some yogurt. Fruit gets your metabolism going. (I have a SLOW metabolism but this really helped to get even mine burning)
A glass of warm water with some fresh squeezed lemon when you wake up, even before you start getting ready for the day
If you’re schedule doesn’t allow, or you just don’t want to get to the gym, be sure to fit in some activity somewhere in your day. Take the stairs vs the elevator or escalator park in the back of the parking lot. Be creative.
Detox first, flush your body of the bad stuff, let your digestive system start fresh and clean.
Seriously and honestly, if I can do it, anyone can. Dieting is SO much more than the pill you take, it truly is changing behaviors that have become only natural for us and becoming food smart. If you just keep encouraging yourself and believe you can do it, you can.
Feel free to send me a message if you have more questions or just need encouragement! :) Good luck!!
