I'm in need of some recommendations for a diaper bag. I'm minimal when it comes to the diaper bag, as a matter of fact now I just carry a big purse with a diaper carrier and my stuff. I can fit a couple of snacks and a couple of sippy cups too. But I'm due to have #3 in October. I will have a 4yr old in preschool part-time (potty trained), a 20mo old and a newborn/infant. I'm going to need something bigger but it can't scream diaper bag! I have one of those already and hate it. I want something that keeps it's form even when it's empty and with outside pockets to hold sippy cups. I don't want a backpack, I'd prefer it to look like a handbag. I don't want to spend a fortune on it but I'm not against it either if I think I'll love it! I do not want to buy another diaper bag in 6-12mo because I don't like this one....
What diaper bag do you love?? I'm considering OiOi hobo or Petunia Pickle Bottom Touring....
I don't remember the brand but my daughter has one that has short straps with "clips" so that it can be fastened to the stroller handles. It's nearly as wide as the stroller. It has straps so it can be carried as a purse. It comes in various patterns. Has an outside pocket with a changing pad on one side and another outside pocket on the other as well as a small zippered pocket inside on the side.
I checked out various standard tote bags, just making sure they had a space for the pad/wipes. The one I like best is a Sportsac with 2 compartments inside (I use one for food & one for clothes changes) and an outside zipper that holds the pad & wipes.
But I must admit that my Petunia Picklebottom that I use in the fall is fabulous. I get "what a great purse" compliments all the time, and it has a "hang on the back of the stroller" attachment. The only thing is that my zipper broke and they not only didn't live up to their guarantee, the person I was told to contact didn't respond to emails or calls on the topic.
If you're like me, you want it to look like it's your purse ;) This one caught my eye and I would so get it if I needed it! Hope this helps
