I would suggest yoga to you. It really helped me relax when I was pregnant and really allowed me to bond with the baby. I don't know where you live, but they have a great pregnancy yoga through Morton Plant Hospital. Good luck!!!!
I am going through some difficult things at this time of my life right now. Between work and home, trying to find my own apartment and a car all before my baby gets here in afew months. I'm so stressed out and would like to know if anyone has anything that has helped them deal with the stress. I feel horrible, cause I know when I'm upset and anxious, so is my baby. I hate that! I want him to safe and happy. Please help if you can thanks so much. Any advice I will take, I just want to be happy.

Have you tried yoga or meditation? There's a couple different birthing self-hypnosis programs that could help you too. I used "Hypno Babies" with my third baby and it helped me to relax during pregnancy and during labor. It didn't make it totally stress or pain-free, but it was much better than my first 2 babies.
Dear S.,
Pregnancy is a rough time physically and emotionally. You are going through so many changes on top of it! The best thing you can do is talk (even a counselor would be great) and some exercise like walking (take advantage of our warm weather). Deep breathing and prayer. There are only a few things you really need before your baby gets here like some basic clothing, diapers, and a bassinet/bed. Focus on yourself like getting enough rest. Don't beat yourself up about being stressed. Everyone is stressed during their first pregnancy whether they admit it or not. You will be just fine!! Good luck. K.
Good Morning,
I was a single mom when I was your age too... I know how you feel... I was going through a tough divorce at the time and was struggling with finances so I also know STRESS! I am from up North too... if you want to talk send me and email and maybe we can talk... My son will be 14 next week...SO, we made it this far so that should give you a little hope...
Have a good day and keep your chin up.

HI,
Take a walk for a half hour everyday. Get yourself some good vitamins. Calcium-magnesium is available in healthfood stores as a drink that you make, similar to tea. Very important for babies bones and your nerves. Camomile tea is good also.
I would do them all, eat right, etc.
Good luck
D.
