Hi Ladies,

I'm looking for advice for my dark circles under my eyes. When I don't use makeup everybody asked me who I got into a fight with. I wear undereye concealer but not sure if I have a good namebrand. I had also went to bare essentials place in the mall to get one of those free makeovers well I don't like there undereye stuff I didn't feel it did anything.

What can I do next?

C., I have the same problem. The best concealer I've found is CoverToxTen, Wrinkle Thereapy Concealer by Physicians Formula. I don't know what it does for wrinkles but it is a great concealer. I saw it recommended in a magazine and tried it. I have pretty fair skin and I have the Soft Yellow.

Hi C.,
I have to say there are a couple reasons for dark circles. Are they just dark circles, do you have any sinus pressure, because lots of times, especially if left untreated sinus problems including infection can cause very dark circles. Try pushing around your eyebrow bridge of nose and under your eyes with two fingers and see if there is any pressure or pain. If you are certain it is not sinus related, then it is either genetic or just from aging, the treatment is the same either way. Treatment would be long term, this may be why you did not like the Philosophy under eye cream. I am the same way, I own it, I actually think it works well, but you have to give it time and I am inpatient so I don't remember to use it on a consistent basis, that said there is a website I go to sometimes for issues that I know are from age but generally affect people a little older than me. There was actually a good advice article on how to keep your eyes looking young a while back, here is the link http://www.more.com/style/beauty/skin-over-40/ageless-eye...
The website is owned by Ladies Home Journal, and Better Homes and Gardens, it is called More.com and is for women over 40. I happen to only be 32, but I got signed up for the e-mail entering a contest and it has actually been useful. Good luck, you can always check with your Doctor too.

I use Mac concealer. It comes in a little pot and I apply it with a brush and then put my makeup on over it. I have tried others and theirs is still my favorite. It is Studio Finish concealer. Bonus, it is SPF 35!!

Try taking two Lipton tea bags, soak them in ice water for 5 minutes, then laydown and cover your eyes with them for 15 minutes. Not only will your dark circles be deminished and any bags under your eyes be lessened but your eyes will feel much better.
Try it you will like it. Milli

Arbonne's RE9 eye cream is just great for this - contains Kojic acid - a natural ingredient that functions as a skin lightener - great for dark circles, age spots, and other skin discolorations. Please feel free to contact me for more info.

Hi C.,

I have the same issue. Bags too. I do sell a product, so I don't want you to think I am just answering this for that. I really didn't even know this product helped. The skin care with It Works (www.cleansebodytoxins.com) It's very inexpensive, but a lady told me she was using the StretchMark/Anti Aging cream for dark spots and under her eyes. She's older than us (54) with more aging problems than us and says it's awesome. I didn't know it helped with that but I sure put my order in quick when I found out. (which was yesterday)

Well good luck! Hope all is well.
J.

This might be a little late, but I just read your question. I'm getting married, and had a make-up artist do a make-up trial for me. She didn't use this on me, because she didn't really notice my dark circles, but I do...so she suggested Smashbox brand photo op under eye brightener. She said I could get it at Sephora or other makeup stores, and it is the best thing she has seen for that problem. I haven't tried it myself, but thought I would offer you some advice from a professional.
