I am looking for a recommendation on a good Colonic Hydrotherapy Center in Chicago. I would prefer one on the North Side but if you have had a great expierence please let me about it. I have been debating colonics for several years now and I think I am ready. Thanks so much for your help!

What can I do next?

Hi A.-I have been an advocate in recommending colonics and detoxing and i have been personally been doing it for 6 years-it will keep dis-ease at bay. If you are looking in Chicago-check out Karen's Raw. Her establishment has been an icon in Chicago for a very long time. www.karensraw.com then click on services

It is one of the best things you can do for your body and your health. We are all plagued by pollutants and parasites and colonics and a good detox program is the way!!

I have many articles and links regarding cleansing and detoxing. Let me know if you want copies of them!!

There is one also in the burbs that is absolutely awesome as well. It is the Brannick Clinic. Another Mamasource mom just went there and loved it.

I go to one in NW Indiana. I have been going for 5 years and I think everyone should go. Any questions? Feel free to ask.

I go to a great therapist - Ania - in Glenview. I know it's a bit far from the North Side (I live on the NW Side myself) - but she's worth the drive. She is a very warm person who will make you feel at ease - esp. if this is your first time. I also found her rates the most reasonable - more info: http://www.colonicsforwellness.com/

There is a colonics place - Colonics for Health? - on Lincoln. I do not recommend that place. They advertise the 90 minute colonic. The one time I went there - I found the practitioner (no longer remember her name) very abrasive.

There is also a place Partners for Wellness in Lincoln Park. I have not tried them.
