Krista, you could also contact Rachel at The Tutoring Place; www.thetutoringplace.com. My son needed some tutoring before finals last fall and she did a great job of pairing him with a tutor. We've been very happy and his grade was improved.
Hi Moms,
I have just started an online Caluclus class and am in desperate need of a tutor in the Plano/Frisco/Allen area.
Any responses would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Krista

You may check with your local school district, some maintain a list of teachers that do tutoring on the side. Calculus teachers are in somewhat limited supply, but you only need one!
Give me more details...when, where, how long, etc.
Thanks,
E.
hii ..I am a math tutor you can email me at ____@____.com with your contact info. I will talk to you soon .
There are study guides that work out every possible problem you could run across. They are schwaums study guides. (Go to Barnes and Noble and ask) They got me through college... All the way to differential equations. Try this first before you shell out the cash for a tutor.
Krista,
My husband and I own a tutoring business, and we have a couple of people in that area who are qualified to tutor calculus. Our tutors come to your home at your convenience. Our business website is www.risingscholars.com. Check us out and feel free to give us a call at ###-###-#### if you think this is something you want to move forward with.
Best of luck.
