Hanna Anderson. Wonderful quality and I don't know how they do it but somehow the Hanna Anderson clothes seem to fit my girls through 2 sizes. They are such good quality that when they pass from the the older to the younger daughter, they still look new. They don't stretch, fade or lose their shape. Good stuff!

Kids grow so fast that I don't buy the expensive brands. Anything I've ever gotten at Target, JC Penny, etc. have always been great and lasted as long as they've fit in it, even lasted for hand-me-downs for my second one!

Like other mamas said, it depends on your budget, but we love Children's Place, Crazy 8, Gymboree, Baby Gap, Carters and Osh Kosh. Here and there I find things at Target, but most of their sale stuff is the same price as finding something on sale or at the outlets at one of my more favorite stores.

Gap Kids, and Baby Gap, for sure. They are known as the 'hand-me-down-brand' for a good reason...reasonably priced, and I can pass them through both my girls and them sell them off or give them away and they still look like new. I also 'friended' my local store on Facebook, and got notified of a one-day sale this weekend- 40% off, yowza!

It's really not so much about the brand as it is about the quality for us. Kids prefer soft, tagless, 100% cotton, and then of course you want durability. My 2 year old child is on the lean and petite side so Children's Place and Chico from Target fit her very well. Children's Place has really good sales in January and I also buy a lot of stuff from Old Navy during their big sales.

I am not a brand follower, but I pretty much stick to sales at Wal Mart, Target, and J C Penney. Target gets great clearances and Wal Mart has some pretty good sales, too. I stocked up for my boys for next summer at Penney's. Unfortunately, we end up desperate when they outgrow something we weren't expecting and we have to find something full price, in which case those stores are also pretty good for regular sales and prices. My MIL also shops a children's consignment store near their home and finds some really great deals on bigger items like jeans and coats. The only downside I've found from Wal Mart are that their jeans (Geranimals I think) tend to get a bit thin at the knees, but that is after going through two boys.

Depends on your price range.
Oshkosh has been arround forever, is excellent quality, but is also pricey.
I liked the Cherokee brand by Target, decent quality for a good price.
Not one of my favorites, but I know a lot of moms who like GAP.

Nobody's mentioned my fave, Lands' End! Great quality, long lasting and if you catch the end of season sales, you can get a few bargains to boot.

Honestly, it depends what age you are talking about as different manufacturers are tailored to fit certain body types. Additionally, if you are talking about durability, that is another factor to consider.
With my little guy, so far Carter's, Gymboree, Osh Kosh B'Gosh, The Children's Place, Old Navy and Janie and Jack work well.
If you are considering price, Old Navy is very reasonably priced. However, if you are shopping for a infant or toddler, I have found the best deals at Children's Orchard. The clothing is used but always in great condition.

It depends on your budget, when we can afford it I shop for my kids at Gymboree and Baby Gap, you can't beat the quality of their clothes. They are the best I have found. Otherwise. we like The Childrens Place, Carters, And Jumping Beans from Kohls.
