You might try a pencil eraser, or try a little window cleaner. Either one should take it right off.
I need to know what to use to get those black shoe marks off the linoleum floor in my bathroom.
First of all, THANK YOU so much to everyone that responded. I tried the window cleaner first because I had some. Actually it was a generic glass cleaner but it didn't work. My husband does a lot of the grocery shopping so I asked him to get a generic for Mr. Clean's Magic Eracer. He got one by Scotch Brite that said it compared to the Mr. Clean Magic Eracer and it was less. But the bottom line is I have gotten black marks off my bathroom floor that have been there for literally years. YEAH!!! We'll see how long it takes the grandkids to put some more on.

Hi B.,
I L. the magic erasers by Mr. Clean. I use them for almost all cleaning. I even keep one in the shower to do a quick cleaning when I shower. I like the fact that there is no cleaning product odor and they remove most things, including gross soap scum and hard water spots.

The Mr. Clean Magic Sponge eraser does a great job on black heel marks. Test in a small srea to make sure it does not remove whatever finish your floor has.

Yep, the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will do the trick. It also takes pen marks off of a leather purse, permanent marker off a white board, and black marks off a white car.
I've found the generic ones work just as well for half the price. :-)
Happy cleaning.
Hi B.. I used Sol u mel. It clears all marks, deodorize and and it cleans more than like MAGIC.
B.- I too am a big fan the the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. It cleans just about everything imaginable up. My oldest crayoned our tile and its all gone after using it. I have started using the generic ones because they are half the cost and they work just as good. Another thought is baking soda and white vinegar. Pour the baking soda over the scuff mark and then the vinegar and let it sit for a few minutes and then scrub it up. I hope that my suggestions work.

Try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It's amazing!
Try Huggies diaper wipes. I know it sounds odd but they take off just about anything.

comet/and a good scrubber
This is a bit off topic but if you ever want to get your floor super shiny buy some super cheap vodka and mix a half water and half vodka concoction and wash your floor with it. Your floors will sparkle so bright that you can see yourself in them. I also swear by the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for everything, even things that get on the walls, counters, and fireplace.
