I agree that Freecycle is one choice.
We also have a Latino social service agency for new immigrants/Americans. They have the standard food pantry but also a clothing/household item "pantry" including baby gear, games, toys and so on. We also have an Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) that provides emergency transitional housing for homeless families who have so little. There are also programs for abused women - your donation might be a lifesaver there too. Look into that route. You could really make a difference in someone's life!
