I'd like to find some great board games to play with my teenage son. A great game for 2 to 3 players would be ideal.
Would you please share with me the board games that your teen likes to play with you?
Thank you!

I like to get ideas for games by watching Wil Wheaton's Tabletop show on Geek and Sundry's Youtube channel. It is fun because you not only learn about the game, you get to see someone play it and see if it would be a fit for you. That's how we found Cards against Humanity (an Apples to Apples for terrible people.) and Ticket To Ride. We're also looking at buying Star Trek Catan.

We often play Yahtzee at family get togethers and the teens enjoy it.

I second Ticket to Ride, it is a wonderful game!

Also, Pandemic- its a cooperative game so you either all win or you all lose, and the times we've played we've only won maybe 1 out of every 3 times. (You can make it easier or harder and it changes every time). Highly recommend to avoid competition between the siblings

More games we are looking at: Merchants and Marauders, and Power Grid

Good luck!

We like to play Scrabble, Cranium, Rummikub and Monolpoly. Also enjoy some basic card games, especially if "betting" is involved that usually gets my kids more interested! lol They have enjoyed learning to play Gin Rummy, Poker, Spades and 31. Good card games for larger groups are Spoons and a form of Canasta called "Hand and Foot."
