My daughter will be turning 7 in June and my son will be 4 the end of May. Their birthdays are less than 2 weeks apart and they are both good with having a combined party. Can you recommend any places in the HEB or Grapevine areas that would be suitable for both genders and that would fit both of their ages? We had a party at home last year with a bounce house and pinatas, and I wouldn’t be opposed to doing that again, but I would like to do something different. Any suggestions?

TIA!

What can I do next?

Grapevine has a fire station that rents a party room. The firemen in the station make a visit to the party room and allow the kids to crawl all over the fire truck.

If you have a home party consider a clown. That would appeal to a wide age range and suit both boys and girls. Try Funny Business at www.dfwfunnybusiness.com
They have GREAT clowns!

Would you consider a martial arts birthday? We host birthday parties here at Legends Martial Arts. The kids get to have a special 15-20 minute class with their friends, play lots of games with a black belt assisting and cut their cake with a samurai sword. (with assistance) If this is something you might be interested in, let me know. We are located in Hurst and our website is www.legendsmartialarts.com.

We host birthday parties out at Meadowmere Park - www.AdventureDayCamps.com - at the same location we hold our Spring Break and Summer Camps. Both the girls and boys have a blast. We can include archery, target shooting (BB guns), kayaking, fishing, swimming in the lake, a scavenger hunt, obsticle course, water balloons, and more. We will be purchasing another water slide this year as well and will probably have it in time for your children's party. Feel free to call me if you have questions - ###-###-####.

I have almost the same situation! My daughter is turning 8 the first week of March and my son is turning 4 the third week. We have decided to go to Incredible Pizza over off of 183 (I am in GP, so not sure of the cross street). There looks like so much fun stuff for them to do there!

Also, a plug for my business. We come out and do Sno-Man Mania Birthdays. The kids get to make sno-men, have a sno-ball fight and eat "sno-cones". Parties start at $75 and kids of all ages love it! www.CandiSno.com

(My daughter works the parties with me, so she could care less to have sno-men at her party! lol)
