Around Como Park is good!
I'm moving to St. Paul in October and my kids are on 5th grade so I'd like to know the safest area in St Paul and the best School District. Thanks
We are moving in the end of October and so far we didn't decide anything but thank you for your help because now I can look in to the sites of these schools. I'll just know everything when you get there and I'll let everyone knows. For now thank you.

Hi R.,
What part of St. Paul will you be moving to? My husband and I grew up and still live in the Como Area. He went to Como Elementary and I went to Chelsea Heights, of course that was many years ago. But having friends whose children have gone to both I have heard they are both very good and safe schools. I have a 6 year old daughter that is in Kindergarten at Crossroads Montessori. I love her school and I feel very safe having her there. The teachers are wonderful and do a lot of one on one with the kids and parents. My advice would be to talk to other parents in your area and even call the schools you are considering. It's probably going to be easier to find the ones you don't want to send them to. LOL Good Luck and keep us posted on your decision.

Hi R.. One resource you can look into for military personnel and their families is www.militaryonesource.com. I work at the company that provides this service, but it is free to military families. There is lots of parenting information on the site that might help you.
I've heard that the best school is Horace Mann in Highland Park. No personal experience--just word of mouth from parents and teachers.
