Does anybody have any experience, good or bad, with any of these places? I am interested in getting my 2 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son involved in something. My daughter did gymnastics at the roanoke rec center and loved it, but the time conflicts with my son's mother's day out classes so I need to find something else.

What can I do next?

I wasn't too keen on Act One. My oldest was there for a year+ & I pulled her out. We now go to Dance Coninuum in B'ford. A drive from SE Keller, but worth it. Her teacher at Act One was nice enough, but the owner & ESP. the secretary (I'm sorry, but she was the face to the public...& that face had eaten something sour & rotten everytime I saw it!!) were just not terrible friendly or open, as I had experienced.

I have serveral friends w/ kids at ASI & they seem to really like it.

I was a cheerleading coach for a couple of years we took our girls to Texas Tumblers and they were great. The staff is wonderful!

My girlfriend had use to take her two to Tx Tumb. But they were not learning that much. She didn't like it. And she did cheer in HS and college. Sorry!!

We went to Texas Tumblers from the day it opened until about 2 years ago. It WAS a great gym for tumbling, but over the years the focus was turned to competitive cheerleading. I understand that is far more profitable for them. We loved the owners, but like I said, their attention wasn't towards tumbling once their business was established. There was always high staff turnover rates and I have heard countless parents complain that their children never have the same teacher. We have witnessed this first-hand over the years as well. I would suggest a different gym if you are looking for instruction rather than recreation.

We go to ASI (Keller), we've done the parent & me class, which was fun. We have our 3 & 6 year olds enrolled in class, and they love it. The coaches are all great, lots of schedule flexibility, and we even had a (great!) birthday party there.
