Their turkeys are .39 cents a pound when you spend at least $20 or more. I've also never seen the free turkey coupon. Good luck.
Hi Moms! :) My hubby, son and I are hosting my in-laws at our house for Thanksgiving this year. There will be 12 of us total (in my 1,200-sq-ft house. Yep.)
:)
I've been anticipating the arrival of my "Free Turkey" coupon from Kroger that I get yearly (if you're a card holder they always send you one.) I've never had to use it (we've never hosted Thanksgiving before), but although most of my family and friends have received theirs by now, I haven't gotten mine. A thought: if any of you moms are maybe going out of town and not using yours, would you mind sending it to me?! If you'd agree to maybe stick it in the mail to me on Monday, I should have it by Wednesday in time to purchase it. I would really really appreciate it.
Thanks so much! :)

I am not familiar with the Kroger thing but there are deals out there with turkeys as low as .89/lb. I don't know if you are looking ofr a specific brand. Personally, I only use Butterball but I have seen store brands this year around 79 and 89.lb.
Maybe one of your guests can pitch in and help with the turkey???
Good luck.
I just paid .39/# at Kroger......I just don't see the free ones anymore......sad, really.........
I have been a Kroger card holder for many years and I have never recieved a coupon for a free coupon. I didn't even know that was something they did.
check the Sunday ads. Some grocery stores will give you a free turkey (under a certain weight - 20 lbs or so)... if you spend at least $50 in groceries (for your weekly groceries or the other items you need to buy for Thanksgiving). A good deal!
