My 8 yr old son wants to start practicing a sport. He wants to try soccer,baseball,or basketball. I have no clue were to start looking. Can anyone help?
The nice thing about Tae Kwon Do is you can start anytime. It's not as team oriented as some sports, but there are competitions and you can be as competitive as you want. Martial Arts centers can be found pretty much everywhere.

Have you thought of ice skating (might lead to hockey) or roller skating? Bowling can lead up to leagues.
WELL I DONT NOW WHERE YOU LIVE BUT in virginia beach there are a few soccer programs. nysl.com is the one we used and then there is rush. its too late to sign up now but you can sign up in a couple months for the spring season. or try your local recreation center as they have all of the sports you mentioned. the ymcas do too.
Fall ball baseball has already started so has football and soccer. The rec centers in va beach start basketball sign ups in november. Check with your local rec center. Spring baseball sign ups are in february.
