6 Year Old Grieving Her Grandpa

Almost 2 months ago my Dad passed away. My 6 year old daughter was extremely close to him and is really struggling with his loss. She frequently talks about how she is sad and wants to see him. She cries about it a lot too. She has broken down at school, on field trips, at home - just about anywhere. We are very strong in our faith and believe that he is in a better place but this is just not enough to console her right now. Do any of you know of support groups specifically for kids who have lost someone close? We live in Dearborn and I would like to find a support group for her close by.

What can I do next?

Ele's Place in Ann Arbor is specifically for children who are greiving. (elesplace.org, ###-###-####) It may be a little far, but I used to volunteer at their Lansing location and it is a great organization!
