So What Happened?

I want to first say Thank you to all that responded , I got my results back today and I have no cancer, My Dr said everything was great . They want to put me on estrogen pills to try and regulate the bleeding. I just want to tell you all that I was a mess the first 2 days and then I took it to prayer and God spoke to me and said" Do not show fear , I am with you". And then I had this unbelievable spirit of courage .I knew that what ever the out come he would get me through it. And when I got my results I was just filled with so much joy. I want to say Thank You again to all that took the time out to respond. Have a wonderful night.......

Do you have regular PAP tests? This is so neccesary epspecially after 35. If your biopsy comes back bad, hopefully only with pre cancerous cells, your OBGYN will remove those bad cells, usually with freezing or cauterizing, this is uncomfortable, but not really painful This is called a LEAP procedure. If the cells are pre cancerous you will probably need a PAP every three to six months for a year or so after the procedure. I went through this when I was 17. I was devestated, but it all turned out okay, hopfully you will be too :) Good luck and I'm sure everyone's thoughts will be with you!!
*****to everyone: ANUUAL PAPS ARE SO IMPORTANT< EVEN IF YOU DON"T HAVE INSURANCE DO IT AT THE HEALTH DEPT FOR LESS THEN $100 IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE***************

Dear S.,

Gulp ! So,firstly, you should feel lucky that your doctor is so thorough. You could have cervical cancer and not found out so soon.

Hang on, and take the doctor's advice all along the way. What is an RA ?

You are single, but are there grandparents around? What about sisters and brothers? Find comfort in your family or with very good and serious close friends. Go to church if you are not doing so at this time. I always tell my daughter, you don't have to make a big deal out of going to church. Just go in and sit down and sing and pray, and listen. Then say hello when people speak to you and you don't have to make any explanations - Some churches are friendly and some aren't, but that does not matter, it is the support and guidance you receive when you are there. After you get to know them, ask for prayers for whatever it is you need help with. - God will always be with you - even if you don't take my advice and go to church.

Sincerely, C. N. Good Luck your girls will comfort you, you will be surprised how wise they are.

Please try not to worry, it seems like a long time to wait for results. My pap came back with pre cancer cells on my cervics, I had to have a partical hyst, (which means they left only my ovaries) This has been 12 years ago. Please make sure you get a 2nd oppion on this too if it comes back positive. The major concern is if it is on your tubes. A lot of women have got HPV which can cause pre or even cancer. There is treatment for what you think you might have. Your doctor will know the best form of treatment. Prayera to you!! God bless you.

Be strong and let us know what happens. Remember at can also be something as small as a wart or even a boil or just changes.

Take care!!

My prayers are with you. I know the waiting is difficult. I had a lump in my breast and my doctor's office was VERY slow getting back to me with the results. I called and called and called, getting their voicemail every time. I finally received a letter from the mammogram people saying it was nothing. That was it. It turned out to be a clogged milk duct. I am so grateful for that. Please keep praying and remember that He is with you, no matter what.

My prayers are with you. I can't say I have been through this particular case, but I remember something similar. I had my first pap at 16 and the doctor told me that it would be very difficult to have a natural child. At 17, that was the end of your world becuase what are women for? But I have had 2 pregnancies since then, 2 live births and my children are now 7/6 and maybe one more on the way- so just believe in God and all your needs will come true. Doctors are people too, and they make mistakes- they have to give you the worst scenario- at least you believe in God- he will help you threw it!!! Good luck and I look forward to hearing your testimony :)

Hi S.,

My prayers are with you. It's not good for you to panic at the moment. Take a deep breath and stay calm. I have had experience with this same problem with several members of my family. My mom, my sister, and my aunt. In the case of my sister she did in fact have cervical cancer but thankfully it was caught in time and she's perfectly fine today. 15 years later! In the case of my mom and aunt they had fibroids which is very common and is brought on by an imbalance in your hormones. First thing I would do is try to eliminiate any foods that have preservatives as some of these chemicals mimic female hormones and reak havoc on your body in many ways.

I'll keep you in my prayers that all will be well and if you have any more questions please feel free to write me back.
