16 Month Old Drinking a Ton but Not a Lot of Pee?

We recently switched totally to a sippy minus a bottle in the morning and at night of coconut milk. (What she can handle)

These sippies hold about 8-9 ounces each I believe, she will go through close to 3 - 3 1/2 of these a day normally. Maybe a less some days depending, and then she has two 6 ounce bottles in the morning and night of coconut milk.

That is a ton of liquid even with less I think, but I swear we never have the wet diapers to prove it. Today was a little concerning more so, she finished her bottle this morning, one whole sippy and nearly half of a second. Napped for 2-3 hours, played for another hour went to change her and her diaper was pretty dry. As if she hadn't drinkin a thing for hours.

At what point should I be concerned? I don't think it is super worrying but at the same time seems a little odd to me.

What can I do next?

S., you are certainly a champion worrier.
modern diapers are incredibly well-designed so that they don't feel wet. if she's drinking this amount, which seems healthy and normal, and seems fine, and isn't bloated or complaining, she's fine.
mention it to your pediatrician next time you go just to ease your mind, but i'm sure she's fine.
take a deep breath and just enjoy her.

I find these new diapers very deceiving. They pee and diapers feel dry. I just notice the weight seems a bit heavier but you swear it was dry. Could that be happening?

So, maybe you are better at judging then me, but I actually thought in the first day home that my newborn had not peed all day. Then the next day at the home visit, my dr said that his diaper was currently wet, It was so unnoticable, that I would not have guessed. This is coming from him being my second child so you think I would be able to tell. Anyway, my point being are you sure she isnt peeing a little more then you think she is? Maybe try a cloth diaper or letting her go around in the backyard naked for a day to see for sure.

Take a paper towel and fold it in half. Line the diaper with it. See if it get's wet. I bet it does.

My toddler usually goes potty about three times a day. I was worried, but when I thought about, she has always been this way. Some kids just don't need to pee a lot.

Also. This may the first sign that you might want to introduce the potty. Waking dry from naps is the cue I usually take, and all three of my kids were done, including night, around their second bday,

It's probably nothing but it would be worth it to have her pediatrician check her out.
If it's something then you'll catch it early.
If it's nothing, then you'll have peace of mind.

How often do you change her diaper? I suggest, based on my granddaughter at that age, if it's more than 3-4 times a day she hasn't had time to fill the diaper. You could try leaving the diaper her on until you can squeeze it to know it's full. You may find she's peeing a little bit at a time.
