wall mural - help

Hello fellow moms. I just bought a house and I'm so excited. I can finally decorate to my hearts desire without somebody telling me I have to paint it back. So here's my question: Does anyone know of anyone in the area that knows how to paint a picture on a wall for inexpensive? I am not an artist and my sister is in Germany so she can't do it either. Or is there a shop somewhere that sells small pictures that paste onto a wall to make it look like it was painted on?

Elizabeth,
I rep a product called Wall Words which is vinyl lettering and pictures that you apply to your walls. There are 70 colors and 39 colors to choose from! You can view the product at www.wallwordsconsultants.com or contact me at [email protected] for a catalog (I honestly think it's easier to look at the catalog than the web site....) Good luck!

I'm not an artist either but it's easy to do wall murals, just find a coloring page of the item you want on the wall. Take it to Office Depot and have them copy it to a transparency sheet. Then borrow or buy an overhead, project the image on the wall and trace it with a pencil. After that just paint as desired. I do recomment painting the wall first, depending on the mural you are going for, for example if you choose a scene with lots of sky start with a light blue paint on top and perhaps even paint the bottom half green so that you don't have to paint in all the grass by hand. It does take time because you have to let it dry but it really isn't all that hard.

Good luck!

I have an old school friend who is a teacher at Blackwell Elem and she does paintings for daycares and other facilities. She is really good. Her number is 8045175933 and just tell her that Aiesha referred you.
