There is a lady in Plano that teaches and one in Dallas. My daughter is on her 2nd year and we love it! It's amazing!

I took my 1-year old daughter for lessons at our local YMCA. They have classes (group and private) for all ages.

Emler has been great for both of my kids! It is indoors, the water is warm and the staff is well trained.

Another place to look is www.planoparks.org and go to the Leisure online section for online class registration for the Plano recreation centers' classes.

Emlers at Preston & Forest is supposed to be good.

My daughter took one session (16 weeks) at Emler (www.iswimemler.com) & it was amazing. She was 3 when she started & now can swim by herself for ~ 15 feet. We did the YMCA last year & it only made her crazier. Emler only has a 1:4 ratio so it is very customized to your child. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful & professional. I am pretty thrifty & it is expensive but it was WELL worth it!
