Super Suppers vs. Dinner My Way

I think I'm gonna give one of these meal preparation places a try. Anybody have any comments, raves, or warnings??? It's a lot of money but I think it'll all equal out in the end (after all I can't go in the grocery store and only come out with what's on my list :)
thanks
Leanne

Hi Leanne...I moved to Irving from Forney and they had a GREAT place out there called Makin Meals that my family LOVED! So when we moved into Irving, I searched for an alternative and tried Super Suppers however, our family was a little disappointed. We actually still have meals in our freezer from August...Just OUR humble opinion. Either way you decide to go, you are absolutely right about it coming out equal in the end. I actually saved money because I found myself buying take out a lot since I would often be too tired after work to cook. Best wishes!

I, on the other hand, loves me some Super Suppers in Coppell. :-) Saved my bacon more than once during the holidays. The food is good, decently healthy, and you can go in and buy meals pre-made (not even have to take the time to make 'em yourself if you don't want to) for the same price, whereas last I checked, Dinner Station charged you more to do that. Also on the last day of the month, you can go in and get Super Suppers' pre-made entrees for a discount (they're clearing their freezer to make way for the next month's meals). I also liked their side dishes.

I love The Dinner Station (www.thedinnerstation.com) ... I have heard that they are easier to prepare than Super Suppers. I have never tried SS though, or ever heard of Dinner My Way.

I also think it gave me more confidence in my cooking abilities, and made me a better cook. A lot of fun to do with 1 friend or more ... and take wine! Enjoy!

I love Super Suppers. I did comparison, and it came out the exact same price as going to the store. Maybey $5 more. But it is worth it to have all the prep done for you. Also, I don't know wich store you are close to, but in Lakewood, if I called ahead, they would bring the food out to me. (I have 2 yr old twins) It really helped when the babies were little. Much easier than getting both car seats out just to run in and pick up.

I love Super SUppers. I have some in my freezer at all times though we only eat them 1-2 times a week.
