Has anyone gone to Sesame place in PA? Any tips on what I should do with my kids/not do?
I live about 15-20 minutes from Sesame Place. Since there are alot of restaurants nearby, I would try to avoid eating meals in the park. It has many water rides so bring bathing suits and lots of sunscreen. Also wear swimming shoes as opposed to sneaker type shoes. I wore sneakers my first time there (about 10 years ago) and still regret it. It was a pain to keep taking them off for the water rides, then having to put them on again. If you forget anything, there is a Target that is not even a mile away. If you have any specific questions, just send me a message.
Lastly, remember to have fun.
I'm taking my kids for the first time next week. We're meeting my sister & her family there who love it so much they've bought season passes this year. The one thing she told us is that the food is very expensive, but that you can bring food in a cooler & eat in their picnic area so that you don't get price-gouged. She said her kids love all of the water rides & other than that there's really only a couple of regular rides, but they have a parade every day (which we'll be skipping as my kids are a bit older & we're really only going because it's free for Military members & dependents).
We just went - unfortunately there were multiple thunderstorms so the rides were closed for a large portion of the day. I would definitely check the weather when choosing a day. That aside, my son loved it. The parade is fun as are all of the rides. Everything is pretty expensive (just as if you were going to any theme park). They do have lockers but I would recommend just wearing your swim clothes with a cover up and hat and bring a change of clothes for when you are done. Enjoy!
