Seeking Toddler Program for My 2 Year-Old

Hi there.

I am looking for a toddler/preschool non-daycare program in Livermore for my recently turned two year-old son. It needs to be two days a week with no parent participation. We have visited Valley Montessori and like the Toddler Program they offer there, but I'm wondering if there are other programs in the area I'm not aware of.

I would love to hear any recommendations you have.

Thanks so much!

Hi Justine,

Have you looked at Fountainhead Montessori in Livermore? I believe it is cheaper than Valley Montessori. My daughter went to Fountainhead and loved it. http://www.fountainheadmontessori.org

My son went to Holy Cross Lutheran, and he ABSOLUTELY loved it there. We started him at Fountainhead but realized shortly after that the "montessori" way of teaching wasn't suitable for him. So we researched several preschools and found Holy Cross to be the best option. I was SO happy we moved him. It was like night and day with him going to school....at a fraction of the cost of the Montessori school. I'm not sure if they start at 2 or 3, but it is worth taking a look at. You don't have to be Lutheran to send your son there. We aren't.

Good luck in looking for a preschool....it's such an important choice!

Hi, I am going to second the post below about Fountainhead Montessori. I went there as a child and now am enrolling my daughter as well. They are absolutely fantastic and definitely worth you looking into. Best of luck!

My daughter went to Our Savior Lutheran Preschool on S. Livermore Ave and they have a 2-day a week 2 year old program. They are a wonderful school with very loving, patient and creative teachers. My daughter is now in Kindergarten and still talks about going to visit her teachers from preschool. Good Luck to you!
