After reading the book "On Becoming BABYWISE Giving Your Infant the Gift of Nighttime Sleep," my life changed for the easier as far as taking care of my son. I wish I had gotten the book earlier. I started applying the techniques as soon as I read the book and had amazing results. It worked within a couple days. (He was already about 7 months old, but I will definitely try this approach with the next baby from the beginning.) My question is concerning the other books starting with "On Becoming ..." listed under the Parenting Resources section at the back of the book. Has anyone read them and found them to be as useful as the first book? I'd really appreciate any advice. I am originally from Richmond, Indiana, but I am currently living in Japan. There aren't many English books in the libraries here aimed towards native speakers. So, I have to get everything via a friend from the States or online shopping that ships to Japan. Books can be expensive and take awhile to get here. Added to that the fact that my 12 month old son is now a very active walking (running) little firecracker of energy, I don't want to waste that precious reading time I do get. Are there any other books that you might recommend?
