I live on the Southwest side of Houston. I asked my husband fora sewing machine for my 25th birthday. Only one problem, I don't know how to sew. I really want to learn, but I can't really take a sewing class right now. I am nursing my baby (6 months old) and I can't even leave her with anyone because she won't let that happen. I think she might even skip the whole bottle thing, because she will only drink from a sippy cup...... Any ways I want to know if there is somone out there who knows how to sew, who might want to show me some basics. And who also won't mind if I bring my baby. Or they could even come over to my place.
Hi, I sew. Not professional but clothing for my daughter, slings and other simple things. I don't mind showing you around the machine. I am just now working on getting pj pants cut for xmas gifts. It is a good simple project to start with.
I don't mind a nursing baby, I have a 3 mth old who won't take a bottle either. But, I am in the north central side of town. Just outside the Heights.
