I have three daughters who all will most likely need orthodontic work by this summer at latest. Yikes. So I'm hoping for a referral to top notch orthodontist who is also not too expensive. P.S. Even if you've had a terrible experience with an orthodontist (and I'm sorry if that happened to you!), your feedback is helpful as well.

Try Melanie Duong in Rancho Bernardo. I'm not sure of the exact mileage distance, but you can get there in 15 minutes from San Marcos. And she's great with kids!

I take my boys to Dr. Minnich in Oceanside. I'm not sure about his prices as I didn't do any comparisons. He was recommended by a former co-worker who used to work for him and her sister still does.

Hi, we live in SM also and when I needed a dentist for my three year old I was a bit obsessive about it. I seem to have issues with all dentists and dr's, and when I went to Dr. Cristal at Rawlings, I was amazed. Not only did I not complain, but I raved.

I have no experience with the Ortho side, but I hear it is a great and popular place. Perhaps you can get a free consultation.

Our daughter just finished with Dr. Roncone in Vista. He is a forerunner on orthodontics and a world speaker. He has practiced orthodontics in Vista for at least 25 years, his staff is marvelous, his office is amazing, and our daugther's teeth are perfect!
