I am in the process of putting together a Baby Shower ... the Theme I am wanting to use is Rubber Ducks (for a boy) ...I have got some of the ideas I need however, I am not sure where you actually find a lot of rubber ducks or rubber duck theme items ... I have looked online but I would prefer to find them at an actual store ... I would appreciate any help you can give me ... the sooner the better because it is in about 3 weeks ...

ADDITIONAL INFO NEEDED ... I actually need to find a local place that has Duck Themed Paper plates, cups, streamers ... etc. I have been all over and was amazed that most stores (even baby stores) ... do not have duck themes for baby showers .... If anyone knows where I can get these ASAP I would greatly appreciate it!!

well they aren't the cute little rubber duckies, but most pet stores carry a rubber duck dog toy. Otherwise I would check all the baby stores.

try US Toy at the corner of Parker and Independence in Plano. It's next to the Whirly ball/Laser tag place. They are like Oriental Trading but it's an actual store. I bought a lot of stuff there when i was getting stuff for our elementary school carnival.

US Toy at Parker and Independence was the first (and only) place that came to my mind too - very much like Oriental Trading.

I'm not sure where you live, but when I was at Walgreens yesterday at lunch (Walgreens at Park & Plano Parkway in Plano), they had white mesh bags with yellow rubber ducks - there must have been about 8-10 in there, some big, some small, etc. Yes, Walgreens, of all places! I've also seen different types of rubber ducks at Beauty Brands last year (I haven't been in there lately) and I bought my son a fireman rubber duckie...I'm sure other Walgreens may have the same mesh bags with the rubber duckies as well. I think they were even on sale! Score!!! :-)

It's not a local store, but Amazon has cute stuff. If the party is 3 weeks away, you have plenty of time to order what you need and get it here in time.

hi, have u tried the dollar storeood s. the baby bath toys usually carry a duck,,good luck.

Thanks to all of you who responded to my request! I ended up going with a couple of different places online, one of which was the oriental trading company. I am not sure yet how everything will turn out because I have not received the items yet but it is definitely much easier doing it all online!
