My mother and sister want to get our 2 year old daughter a portable DVD player for her birthday. We'd assumed that the best buy would be the Fisher-Price DVD player which looks as if it can be dropped and banged around without breaking it -- looks very durable. However, product reviews on it are awful (lots of skipping, bad quality, etc.) So now we're looking for a recommendation for a regular portable DVD player for a two year old. Any suggestions?
We got my son one when he was about that age, it was the portable for traveling in the car because I had an hour commute to work and his caregivers house. It was the regular DVD player not fisher price because he was not going to be carrying it, he practically owned the living room tv for that purpose. They come in very handy.
We have had a Polaroid portable DVD player for over 2 years now, and it works great! Our DD is now 3 1/2, and only now is she the one that carries it around. We have taken it on many airplane trips, and we have never had a problem with it. We got it at Target. Good luck!
Sony makes a good one that I have had for about a year now. No complaints!
Hi there!!! We do have the FP DVD player and have no problems with it. My daughter is 2 1/2 and takes it everywhere with her. She is careful with it, we dont drop it but so far so good...its been on the long trip to Florida with us too...No complaints!
