I am looking for ideas, places or ect. to host a party for 1 year old. There will be more 2 and 3 year olds there. My last resort is to host the party at my home. If I host the party at my home, I need ideas for entertainment or theme. Need your help.
There is a water park in Hurst. It is only 5 dollars a kid. Perfect for little kids
I've been to a couple of first birthdays that were just at a city park. Some parks let you reserve a pavillion. Just call the local Parks & Recreation department. The outdoor play areas entertain the kids and you don't have to clean your house! We've been to one where just cake and juice was served, and another where they grilled hotdogs and hamburgers.
As far as entertaining kids at your house, you don't need much more than a bounce house. You can rent one for around $130.
For the grownups get a couple of party subs, chips and soft drinks.
For a theme -- we did flowers and butterflies for my daughter and Baby Einstein for my son. Check out party packages at www.birthdayexpress.com. Their prices aren't terribly high, but you can find some of the same themes at Wal-mart for less $$
