I wanted to share on here that I am part of an adoptive families group and we have our annual picnic coming up next weekend, Sat. Aug. 29 at 4 pm. It is open to other adoptive families if anyone else would like the come. We have several family events like this a year plus a once a month ladies night out. We play games, have guest speakers on adoption, explore fun things to do in Indy and generally enjoy connecting with others who share in the miracle adventures of adoption. I am the excited mom to a two-year-old girl who I pinch myself every day that I get to raise. She is such a joy and sharing the the joy of adoption with others is one of my favorite things about the group!
