Can anyone recommend a good pediatric dermatologist? My 2 1/2 year old has a major freckle that is starting to change and is worrying me. I have gone to Dr. Wagner at Childrens Mem in the past for my other children, but she is near impossible to get into now. Hoping to hear from someone who LOVES their dermatologist :) Thanks!!
Dr. Sarah Stein is a pediatric dermatologist who is affiliated with the University of Chicago Children's Hospital, but holds clinic once a week in Palos Heights (on W. College Avenue).
Now, we've only met with her once so far (our now four month old son was born with a nevus sebaceous) but I really liked her. She explained things perfectly - she didn't 'dumb down' her explanations nor did she talk over our heads. She was also very thorough, patient, and gentle with our infant son. I would definitely recommend her.
