Party

Ladies,I need your help!!!My daughter has no idea what to do for her 12th b-day party! It's a boy/girls party. This is a big dtep with the boys, but she wants it out of the house.Do you think you can help? Thanks in advance! My daughter has been to several lazer tag parties, and doesnt want to copy!Any other suggestions?(I'll answer all questions in the "What Happend" paragraph)

What about having a party at your local roller rink? My nephew just turned 13 and his friends are all doing skating parties again, just like we did when I was younger!

Yep, roller skating rink was what popped in my head!

My daughter did hers at the roller rink. Boys and girls came and they all had a blast! It wasn’t too expensive either. For a 1 1/2 hr. party for 10 was only $100

Laser tag! Laser tag! Both boys and girls love it. It keeps them very occupied and gives them a ton to talk about if they sit down for pizza afterward (or halfway through, which is how it often works at laser tag birthday parties at facilities here). Has your daughter been to any laser tag birthday parties? A lot of kids do them here, my daughter had one last year and may have a small one this year. They are worth the money, in terms of how much fun the kids have and how much they remember it afterward. Not for a huge crowd because of the cost but perfect for a group of 10 to 15. Roller rink sounds fun but if the kids don’t already know how to skate they’ll spend a lot of the time just trying to stay upright. Anyone can play laser tag immediately even if they haven’t done it before.

My first thought was roller rink too! Or bowling, or laser tag. Keep them busy and keep them involved in an activity. Happy Birthday to your daughter. Did she decide she wanted a boy/girl party or it is peer pressure?

Bowling is a great place for a birthday party.
Every one we’ve been to has been loads of fun for boys and girls.

Bowling is fun. They need an activity of sorts 12 is too young, IMO, for a boyfriend. She has the rest of her life for this. Sin e you have agreed to a boy/girl party just make sure they are busy at all times.

skating ring or bowling or paint ball thats what i did for my 12th party

I was just going to suggest a bowling party, but I see that you’ve already decided! Sounds like fun!

I was going to say bowling, roller skating or the movies.

Mall scavenger hunts are always fun!

Go-cart park around you? Some of our middle school friends rent rooms at a local club house and have some older teens (brothers or their high school friends) do the DJing. A dance party you could say.

Hey Bree,

Its great to know that you and your daughter had a great time on her birthday. Even I saw many mommies suggested you a bowling party. It’s a good theme for 12 year old. For girls only group, it could be chosen a spa party, a pool party, a makeover party, Justin Bieber or a Hannah Montana theme party. For boys as well as girls, pirate and princess party is a good choice. I know some parents who also hosted Camo and skating parties for their teens and tweens. Here is a link that has many other useful teen birthday party ideas. Hope this helps you plan your next party!
