Need "DIFFERENT" ideas for a 5 year old birthday party!!

My daughter is turning 5 this week but we don't plan on having her party till she goes back to school next month. She attends private school and most of the kids are on vacation till they go back to school. She has been going to two different schools the past year so she has lots of friends so I am looking for a party that can hold 20 kids or so.

She has friends ranging from 2 to 8 so it would also need to be something that is entertaining to all ages boys and girls. She is a fan of Sweet and Sassy but she has lots of boys so that is a no.

I am sick of all the same parties. We went to over 20 parties this past year and it is the same thing all the time. I don't think I can do another Jump House party especially at Let's Jump. It is not safe or sanitary there. She had her party at Pump it up in Ft. Worth last year and we loved it but like I said I don't want another jump house.

So I am looking for different ideas. I am not a fan of Chuck E Cheese also.

If any of you have any ideas in the surrounding areas of Keller (grapevine, colleyville, watauga, NRH) etc please let me know. We liked OOgles n Googles but there are no themes that are diverse for the whole age groups.

Thanks,

Erika

How about Incredible Pizza Company in Euless? This is fun for kids but it is a bit of a kiddie casino in respect to the noise factor. We just took our baby and nieces and nephew there ranging in ages from 12 years old to 7 months and they all enjoyed it. Good luck.

We had my children's parties "under the shade tree" at Glenview Baptist Church (at Haltom Road and 820 near Watauga). The kids loved it and it was minimal work since they handled everything from the balloons to clean-up.

You should go to the library and get copy of Suburban Parent. This magazine has all kinds of different things you can do for the kiddos. Here are a few I found in the book:

Also check out some of the water parks like Keller has one, Hurst has two, and Bedford has the Bedford Splash. These are small and about 5 bucks to get in but they have party packages available. These all have kid areas for safety and pavilions u can rent.

Call Oogles and Googles and talk to them... see what they can do. We went to a party there last year, and the boys and girls both loved it. I wonder if they could do a "Tea Party" type... since they have the Teddy Bear tea for the little ones, and the fancy tea for the older ones - maybe they can mix it up for you. They are very good at working with you.

They used to come to my daughter's school every month, so they are used to working with all ages. Besides - the party is about HER turning 5 - not about the other kids... they will all enjoy the fun!

Good Luck!

Jill

ASI Gymnastics and Flips for Fun gymnastics both do great parties.

We had my son's 6th birthday at Flips for Fun and he had a pirate theme. They did a fantastic job, organized a treasure hunt, turned the balance beam into a plank for the kids to walk, everyone loved it.

We also had my daughter's 4th birthday there. She had mix of boys and girls and decided she wanted a cheerleading theme. One instructor took all the girls into a side area to learn a cheer while the boys played a game with the other instructor. Then the girls performed the cheer for everyone. It was a hit with both the boys and girls.
