I am in need of your recommendation for a trustworthy machanic in Plano. My mother drove up from Corpus Christi yesterday in a rental car and had a little run-in with a curb. There's minor front-end damage (mostly cosmetic) but she wants to be sure she didn't mess up anything just underneath, hoses and the like. She just needs to have it looked at to make sure it is still road-worthy. Can anyone recommend a nearby machanic? Thank you all so much for your help. This site has been such a life-saver! I strongly recommend Plano Tire at Hwy75 and 15th Street (NE corner). I've used them for 20 years now and they are VERY honest.

All the mechanics are real nice and don't give you the typical run around because you're a female. They are very honest and trustworthy. My father did state car inspections for a auto mechanic shop in Plano called Innovative Auto Works located on Premeire Drive ( I don't have their number handy-sorry ) The owners name is Rick Palmer and they are a great group of men who are very honest and offer a wide range of expertise in car repair.
