My name is Sarah and I am a stay at home MOm of a 2 1/2 year old and a 10 month old girls. I am looking for a playgroup that meets weekly and or a group where Moms jsut go out once or so a month. If anybody knows of any groups I could join in Columbia SC please let me know.

Hi Sarah,
Though I do not currently attend any playgroups, I have heard from many ladies that Shandon Baptist Curch has a wonderful SPOTS program twice a month. They are located in the Forest acres/ Fort Jackson area of town. Have you taken your girls to toddler storytime at any of the local libraries? My 2 yr old daughter loves the interaction she gets with other kids her age and I myself have met alot of nice moms too! Yahoo has alot of Columbia area mom groups also. Just go to the Yahoo home site, click on groups and search! I have just joined one (Columbia_SC_Stay_at_Home_Mommys) but they have yet to set up any playdates. Maybe they will very soon! we dnt do meetups weekly but if you have a facebook u can join our groups… for moms in need well just for moms really…advice, playdates, trades..etc…
