mom seeking health food store near east boston

I just moved into the East Boston Neighborhood and am slowly finding my way around. However with a 4 month old the findings are coming very slowly. I am currently exclusivly breastfeeding and I have a fairly serious form of Celiac Disease. Are there any breastfeeding or pregnant mothers out there who have celiac disease? And/or can anyone point me in the direction of the nearest health food store near jefferies Pt. in East Boston.

thanks,
kathy

There is a community health center, EAST BOSTON NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH CENTER, where you can enroll for pediatric and adult primary care (there is also a wonderful women's health department for ob/gyn, well woman care). I know there is a Whole Foods on Route 1, but not aware of a health food store right in E.Boston.

I have Celiac disease and have a four month old boy, 1st baby. Unfortunately I was unable to breastfeed as I know it can help with babies' immune system. I am planning on holding off introducing gluten for a while. I may try oatmeal and barley by 1 year, but no wheat until maybe 18 months. I am trying to convince my pediatrician to test his blood for the gene for Celiac, because if he doesn't have it then I won't worry so much. Feel free to contact me directly if you want to talk more. I live in Danvers now, but did live in Arlington for a long time. What in particular are you looking for from the health food store?
